Experience Enrichment

The S/adle was a concept I came up with while looking through standard household kitchen untensils. S/adle stands for "separating ladle", it is a standard ladle with a hollowed out grip where fluids can pass through, a sieve or grill stops solids from passing by in case people choose to have more brothe with their soup, less noodles etc. The S/adle can also be used as a standard ladle and because of the increase in handle size from standard ladles a large nylon grip has been inserted to be heatproof if the fluids passing through were to be at bilong temp. but also as an assisted grip to help sufferers of arthiritis use the item, not unlike the very popular OXO labelled kitchen products...

  1. hey dude i already did all my comments, when i didn't see any comments i just decided to be nice and comment about yours. I like the feature where the soup gets poured from the handle this s/adle is pretty innovative. maybe you should change the colour or make the handle a little bit more interesting!!!! =P

  2. Nice design the shape complements the object well and works well with the design. The colours chosen are standard kitchen colours such as silver and black which will suit the object well for its purpose.
    well done

  3. The space ladle is great, it creates a situation where ladling soup is usually messy into one that isnt saving time cleaning up after dinner. the design is great very good looking and most of all practicle and simple to use. great looking object and great design

  4. interesting idea.... i understand the idea of needing to seperate liquids from the solids in soups and i struggle to do that sometimes so its a great concept the only thing i would be worried about is the solids spilling out of the spoon area when you flip the ladle back to get the liquid out

  5. It's actually quite clever. I know when i eat soup i sometimes want more liquid, so this could be handy. But i agree with Alissa, will the solid food fall out of the scoop when pouring the liquid? All in all a unique design.
